Families, lake property owners, and those who enjoy fishing or boating can all help monitor and steward the health of their favourite lake. By participating in the Canadian Lakes Loon Survey they will take their recreational activities to another level – active participation in science towards conservation.

Geocaching (pronounced geo-cashing) is a family friendly outdoor game. It is often referred to as “treasure hunting with a high tech twist” because you use the Geocaching app on your smartphone. There is no charge to play.
This year our Annual General Meeting will again be a video/audio conferencing meeting run on the ‘Zoom’ platform. All members will receive an email leading up to the meeting with the log-in details and meeting agenda.
Due to the COVID 19 restrictions, the NHCFH has cancelled its annual summer dinner auction fundraiser. In lieu of this event we are hosting an online auction which is being sponsored through Switzers Auction House this coming July from the 10th to the 24th .
Hurry up and register, the derby is coming up fast! This year, unfortunately, there will be no gathering at the Paudash Lake Marina. Nonetheless, we will still have a great fishing derby, using a similar format to last summer. On July 10th, catch and keep as many rock bass as you can, from sun-up to sun-down and post a photo of all your fish to our Facebook page. Prize: gift certificates to the Paudash Lake Marina!
