Paudash Lake Water Quality Report

Paudash Lake Conservation has been testing Paudash Lake in various forms since 1997.
In conjunction with the Lake Partner program we monitor and analyze four parameters for our lake: phosphorus, calcium, chloride and water clarity.

Our activity on and around Paudash Lake can greatly affect water quality, fish diversity, and potential algal blooms. Human impacts, such as septic systems, fertilizers and laundry detergents, road salts, clearing of trees and plant life all have an impact on the water and aquatic life in our lake.

The good news is, at the present time we see no concerning water quality issues in Paudash Lake. However, we must remain vigilant to maintain this status. We will continue to monitor and publish testing results.
