PLCA 2024 Summer Events


CANADA DAY BOAT PARADE & BEACH PARTY

  • monday July 1, 2024 at 1:00PM (No Rain Date)

  • Decorate your boat with Canadian Spirit and Celebrate Canada’s Birthday with us!

  • Two starting points: Lower Paudash or Joe Bay

  • Be at either site at 1pm, then follow the leader. Both routes will combine around Centre Bay and form one parade line to end at North Bay Beach

  • Gather on the water for the traditional singing of “Oh Canada”

  • Post-parade social will follow. Details TBD

DON THOMAS MEMORIAL ROCK BASS DERBY

  • Saturday July 6, 2024, 9am-12pm

  • Start at Paudash Lake Marina

  • Youths 2-18 compete to remove the most rock bass from the lake and are awarded prizes and a certificate for helping protect Paudash Lake’s game fish. Registration opens June 1, 2024.

ANNUAL REGATTA AND FUN DAY - Come out and meet your Board Members

  • Saturday august 3, 2024, NOON – 2pm at North Bay Beach (No Rain Date)

  • Bring the whole family for a day of fun games and competition! Prizes!

  • Please bring a Non-perishable food item to donate to the Central Food Network (CFN) in Cardiff. Cash donations will also be accepted and appreciated.

PLCA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

  • Date TBD - 9:00am

  • Location: Cardiff Community Centre

  • Guest Speaker: TBD

  • PLCA President Mike Thomas will share what PLCA has been up to and encourages everyone to have input into the Association’s future. If you haven’t yet become a PLCA member, come to the meeting, find out what it’s all about and join your fellow cottagers!

  • Everyone Welcome. Coffee / tea / muffins served

4th ANNUAL PAUDASH LAKE GOLF CHALLENGE

  • Location: Bancroft Ridge Golf Course

GEOCACHING

  • Download the geocaching app and head out for an afternoon treasure hunt looking for “caches” around the lake and throughout the area. PLCA has hidden a few caches on the lake filled with little treasures.

  • Nothing required except a cellphone and the app (requires data). Anytime.
